CRQ Response

I think our ideas for reshaping the project lot will fit in with the vision for the TRID (Transit Revitalization Investment District) if we can mold our ideas around the ideas that are currently floating around it. Being one of the first TRIDs in the city, the 46th St. station has a great opportunity to set a precedent for TOD. If we can put something that pertains to TOD or TRID in the lot, we can make the 46th St part of the city amazing. Page then outlined a set of recommendations for making the 46th St. station TRID into a transit friendly community. If we can set out ideas and goals for the lot around that outline, it will help the community greatly. Page explained that TOD is about encouraging moderate density housing around transit stations; densities between townhouses and 4, 5, or 6 story buildings. Putting something like an outer wear store for example would encourage townhouses.
